Good morning. My name is Don Marquez. This is your insurance connection. Broadcasting that, K, U, N, V, 91.5, jazz and more. Sunday morning. Good morning. Everyone. Good morning. My name is Don Marquez, and I'm a licensed insurance broker right here in Southern Nevada and California for life insurance, home, auto, boat, motorcycle insurance. A little too hot to ride a motorcycle right now. I ride motorcycles, and you got to be the rule is in by 10 if you're riding a motorcycle. I can't understand how guys out there riding the motorcycles when it's 110 degrees in the shade. But hey, brothers, do your thing out there, and there's ladies doing your thing out there. But if you're looking to compare rates on your motorcycle license with multiple insurance companies for home, auto, yes, life insurance been in the business now for, I'm happy to say 29 years. Wow, where did the time go? It just went quickly. Because I love what I do. I love talking to customers. I love talking to people that not only are concerned about their insurance, they're concerned about the premiums they pay, but also what my concern is, do you know what you're paying for? Do you know your coverages that you're paying for? I offer no obligation reviews, no obligation you come in my office with your policies, with your policies, your home, your auto, your life insurance. No obligation. Reviews and and, you know, we sit down, we talk about your insurance, we go over your coverages, line by line. You know, unfortunately in this business, you know, price is always that. That's the last thing you when you go in the front door, you're thinking about price. When you walk out the door, you thinking about price. And we all do, because we all live within a budget. I get it. I do get it. But also you need to know the knowledge of how what you're paying for. You know, full coverage is not always full coverage on an auto insurance policy. Well, I have full coverage. Do you have medical Do you have uninsured motorists. Do you have towing? Do you have rental car reimbursement? Do you have the coverage that will, you know, GAP insurance? I mean, it's, it's a list of things on the auto insurance policy that people think they have because they think they have full coverage. Full coverage is just a word that people toss around, but you quickly find out if you're in a car accident and the person that hit you does not have any car insurance and you don't have uninsured motorists. Now you think you're fully covered. Now full coverage, in essence, what people think is full coverage is collision and comprehensive, meaning, if you have a loan on your vehicle, you're covered for collision damages and comprehensive damages. Now comprehen comprehension is wind, theft, vandalism, fallen objects on your vehicle. Basically, that's what it is. Or if someone steals your car, if that's under the comprehensive of the life of the auto insurance policy. Excuse me, auto insurance policy, the collision is when your car is hit. Now their deductibles and sometimes you know when your car is damaged, or you know you have a windshield replacement, it could be below your deductible, and you're and you have to pay it. If you have $1,000 deductible and comprehensive, then you're paying for that $350 windshield, just for an example. So are you really fully covered? That's my whole point of bringing that up. Are you really fully covered? Because if you don't have an insurance review, and you don't understand what you're paying for, I've asked many customers over the many years in the business and this business asking them, What are your coverages? What are you paying for on your auto insurance policy? And I'm gonna tell you nine out of 10 responses are I have full coverage. So let's sit down. Let's have a review. My Location is on the corner of Sahara Rancho in the US bank center located on the eighth floor at work by appointment. My business hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm my contact phone number 702-236-2624, 702-236-2624, again, I'll repeat my location. Sahara Rancho in the US bank center across the street from the palace station hotel, tall us. Tall building with us. Bank on the top. I am on the eighth floor. I work by appointment at 702-236-2624,

we sit down with your policies. Having a Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm we go over your policies, line by line. Why is that important? Don't you want to know what you're paying for when you like to know if you have options. And it doesn't hurt to get a review. You know, it's always good to know and not to know. When it comes to life insurance, this is why it's really important to get a review. Because unlike car insurance, you know, the car insurance continues whether you hear or not, right? If the car is not going anywhere for a long time, but you know your life is expected. You we all have a time. Life expectancy for most men is 80 to 85 years young, and some even younger than that. And the older you get, the more you see the continuation of life or and you also see people that's losing their life, and they have trans, you know, and that made that transition it happens. It happens daily, all the time, and when family members are completely shocked when they go in a mortuary and find out their loved one had accidental only life insurance, we need to clean this up. We need to clear that up. Accidental only life insurance does not pay for natural causes it have, never has and never will. Accidental only life insurance, they target the seniors. I get it. I I'm a senior, and I received this information in by way of mail. They sign up right here, no physical you get a million dollars of life insurance for less than $10 a month. It doesn't make any sense, but the insurance companies know that they can advertise this, and they get away with it all the time. Now, if you are a trailblazer out there, and you're racing cars or for a living, or you're racing boats for a living, or you just a daredevil? Yes, then accidental. Only life insurance probably is the way to go. That's what it's for, really, the Daredevil skydiving, the daredevils in life, yeah, you probably need accidental policy. But for most of us, when we don't do that, especially when we get up in age, you know, climbing mountains, and we don't, we just don't do that. But you ask yourself the question, you know, when the mail comes, have an offer a lot of life insurance for very low cost. You You don't have any life insurance. When you retired from your career, there was no life insurance offered after your career ended, and you went on into retirement, right? You're into retirement. No life insurance, and don't say you don't need it. Now, if you save money, really, really good, then, okay, you may or may not need it to take care of your final expenses. What is the final expense? Life insurance policy? It pays for the cost of a funeral. It pays for the cost of a funeral. Now, if you don't know, funerals cost today between 15 and $20,000 now, if you are a veteran, which I am a veteran, the Boulder City Cemetery will provide the plot, the container, or the vault, as they like to call it, to put the casket in, or even earn in, and the headstone, the opening and closing, you may have to pay for it, which is a small fee, but that's only in Southern Nevada, right here in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Boulder City Cemetery. Now there are other cemeteries that have a veteran section, but they don't pay for those veterans benefits. They don't pay for the veterans benefits. They can put you in, you know, and cemeteries with the veterans section, but you know, your loved ones will have to pay for that, or by having a life insurance policy, a filing expense life insurance policy, you can take care of that up front for them, so they not only will have to come up with money to pay for your final expenses. We all will incur final expenses. We can't get around it. Someone, something has to happen. Something has to happen to your remains, your remains, as you know, you just can't leave your body at home in the back room. Well, you know, Charlie's in the back room, and he's, you know, the house is smelling pretty bad because, you know, Charlie is back there. Or you can't just take your loved one and dig a hole in the backyard. And, you know, like they used to do 100 plus years, 200 years ago, you can't do that anymore. It's against the law. It's against the law. We have to pay for a few. On today, and with the funeral services, the limos, the flowers, the opening, the closing, the headstone, the casket. And I just recently found out that the caskets come from China. I had no idea, because I was talking to a person that owns a funeral home or mortuary, as you want to call it, whatever you want to call it, and I asked him, I said, with the tariffs, does it affect your business? And he said yes, because the caskets come from China, which I had no idea. I thought the China, I thought the caskets went right, made right here in USA. Now you learn something new all the time, and you just learn something new. So now with the tariffs, they they know that the price will go up on the caskets, and now that fee is going to pass on to whom yourself. This is why it's important to have a life insurance policy. It finally spends life insurance policy benefits are paid in 24 hours a whole life policy up to $35,000 in coverage. Now this pays for a funeral. Okay, no health examination to apply, just a few health questions, and there are only 13 questions I ask, and then yes or no answers. Do you smoke? Yes or No, drug and alcohol abuse, yes or no complication of diabetes, including amputation, diabetic COVID, blindness or kidney disorder, yes or no, and most of those answers are no disease of the liver or kidney had an organ transplant, yes or no cancer, other than basal cell skin cancer. Now, if you do have cancer, if you do have cancer, and your stage one, stage two, and it's in and you know you don't have less than 12 months to live, we can get your life insurance policy up to $15,000 if you're on chemotherapy. And, you know, you need life insurance, stage one, stage two, and maybe even stage three. But, you know, I've written people up to stage four, but they've lived over 12 months, and they're fine. So I want to be fair about this. When you have stage one, stage two cancer, you have more probability that you're going to live more than 12 months now, because what are the rules I have to adhere to if a person is going to live less than 12 months, I really can't offer them a life insurance policy. Can't do it okay? Just to be honest with you, just to be transparent with you, because I am in a fiduciary position of trust, you have to trust what I'm offering you to your family, but you have loved ones with cancer, diabetes, and you know, the rates are different prices for everyone. One rate doesn't fit all. The rates are based on your age, whether you're a smoker, non smoker. We don't ask for height, weight. We know I've insured people That's well over 600 pounds, and we that we don't ask a question, how much do you weigh? How tall are you? My name is Don Marquez. This is your insurance connection. Broadcasting right here at K, U, N, V, 91.5, jazz and more. Sunday morning, from 8am to 830 I've been over here now for almost three years. Yes, yes. And I want to thank Dr Ridley for this amazing opportunity, and my engineer, Mr. West night, for keeping me on time right here. K, U, M, V, 91.5, jazz and more. And I also would like to thank the listeners that have contacted me. Came in and we just took care of business. We really took care of business. And when you leave, when you leave my office, you're gonna you're gonna have a greater understanding of the insurance products that you purchased, or the insurance products you currently have today, I offer home, auto, life insurance, boat, motorcycle insurance. License in the state of Nevada for for 29 years. For 29 years, my license was given to me after I passed all the state exams in 1996 Yeah, 1996 and next year will be 30 years. And I love what I do. I absolutely love helping people. You know, this is what I give back to my community. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, this is my give back to my community to educate you on purchasing the right life insurance policy if you currently have a term life insurance policy, that policy will end and you may outlive that policy. Now, that policy could be convertible over to a
Donald Marquez 14:18
universal life or whole life policy before age 70. And this is why it's important to have a review, because on your term life insurance policy, it says the age 95 but when you once you look at the illustration page of your life insurance policy, your term life insurance policy, then you see the rates adjust as when your term ends. Let's say you're paying less than $100 a month your term, your 20 year term, is over. Now that less than $100 a month goes well into the hundreds of dollars a month. If you don't stop the policy or cancel the policy or surrender the policy, they'll pull the money. The insurance companies will pull the money right out of your account. This is why. Is important to have an insurance agent to guide you through the process. We are the liaison for the life insurance companies. We work for both you and also the life insurance company. We're the persons that come you come to us. We introduce you to the life insurance companies that fit your particular needs, whatever your health status is, like I said earlier about diabetes. If a person is a diabetic or you have cancer, liver or kidney disease, you know you may not fit in that $100,000 life insurance policy, very highly unlikely. It really is now final expense life insurance policy, whole life policy, that bills cash value is probably gonna be the right option for you, alcohol or drug abuse. Now, if you suffer from alcohol or drug abuse, we can't offer your life insurance policy. One of the questions we do not ask is, do you smoke cannabis? If you smoke cannabis daily, we don't ask the question. Now, if you only smoke, smoke cannabis and that's it, and you're taking like, maybe preventative maintenance pills, like cholesterol, blood pressure pills, you can get up to $35,000 a whole life policy, no problem, and there's no physical just a few questions with yes or no answers. Most people qualify even with health issues. My name is Don Marquez. I can help you with a life insurance policy. Rates and benefits are locked in for the life of the policy. We all need life insurance. We all going to have a day when it comes and someone or yourself has to pay for this final expense, the responsibility, the responsibility is yours, not your loved ones. Why would you want to pass on a $20,000 funeral bill to your family or leave your spouse behind? And I get I see this all the time when you leave your spouse behind with this bill, not only to pay for the funeral, but to pay for the living expenses. The car payment continues, the car insurance continues, the utility bills continue. The rent continues, the mortgage continues. You know, you know your spouse doesn't have time to grieve, because it's overwhelming to lose you after many years of being together and now they're financially disabled. You disable your loved ones financially by not having a life insurance policy. Look at a life insurance policy as a way to put money in your savings account instantly. When you take out a life insurance policy, regardless of the face of mine, you just put that month, that amount of money in your savings account, and you pay on it little by little each month, go to go to the bank and say, Mr. Banker, I want to buy $100,000 and I want to pay less than $100 a month. They'll laugh you right out of the bank and and the bank sells money. This is what they do, a credit card. They're selling money with interest rates attached to that credit card. They sell money at a bank. But when you go there to them and say, I want to borrow $100,000 you know, and what they want, okay, okay, what are your assets? You know, you have collateral. Well, life insurance policy is, is you're the collateral. You're You're the collateral. No credit checks, you're the collateral. You know, you know, you take out a million dollar life insurance policy. Oh, the bank want a lot of collateral, right? Because they want to make sure their their money is guaranteed. You can take out a life insurance policy for a million dollars. There's no collateral. You just pay the fee every month. You know, the premium every month toward it. But look what the position you put in your family, the position that you're putting your family in at a even with a million dollar life insurance policy, leaving a million dollars behind for your loved ones. You know that passed on generational wealth, pay the house off, pay the kids college. It does a lot. And you know, the younger you are, you know, the affordable it is, it really is. You know, when you, when you go to the car lots today, and the price of vehicles, it just, it blows me away. The average car costs, what, close to $30,000 today, 30 grand. And that may or may not be a used vehicle. Probably, you know, very few brand new vehicles are under $30,000 let's be real about it, but the sweet spot is probably about $45,000 you get a decent SUV or electric car, or whatever your choice is, a truck, but you're not gonna get all the bells and whistles. But if you're spending anywhere an upper 60,000 80,000 then you in your luxury car category. But does it make sense to spend a lot of money for a vehicle that's going to depreciate as soon as you pull it off the lot? It depreciates every single day, and you're behind the eight ball in most cases you. Cars are terrible investments. They just really are, you know. And I know they look good, they smell good inside. And you know, you got your nice, shiny car rolling down the road, and you paying for the car, you paying for the car insurance. But sometimes, you know, you have to say to yourself, what are your priorities? Maybe I don't need this 80,000 or $60,000 car. I can buy a vehicle for a lot less, it's only transportation. You know, when I first started this business, and this is an early, well, early, 2000s I had a gentleman come to me, and he was wondering, and this is when I was an Allstate agent. Now I'm an independent broker representing multiple insurance companies. But when I was a captive agent with Allstate Insurance Company, gentleman came in my office. He just wanted to see what was cost effective. And this is, again, this is an early 2000s and he said, Well, I'm thinking about buying a car, right? And how much it costs, how much is the insurance? I gave him a quota insurance. So he figured out the car insurance, the car payment and gas maintenance, etc, you know, put so he was close to $600 a month with everything, everything, everything, right? So he said, Okay. So he said, what I'm gonna do is hire this limousine service to take me around town, because I only need to go around town maybe two or three days a week, and with the limousine service, it was only $500 a month at that time, back in the early 2000s so he was, he was very calculating about his concerns, about not only owning a car, but the gas, the maintenance and everything goes along with it. Because he, in his mind, I can get a limousine service to take me around town. I don't have to drive. I don't need car insurance, right? So I don't have to buy I don't have to buy gas, I don't have to have maintenance, but I only travel maybe two or three days a week, and I have a limousine service to come to my front door, pick me up, and I'll take care of my business with a limousine service. It made a lot of sense to me at that time, but it also educated me to the fact that, you know, car payments, car insurance, is a very expensive it is, it's very expensive, so we have to make an educated choice on the cars that we drive. And I say cars, because that's one of the biggest purchase other than a home that you're gonna make. That's a large purchase now with the car, with the car prices today, not like it was 20 years ago. It's they're very expensive cars today on the road, and they depreciate every day. I really see you put your money toward a life insurance policy now, you need transportation. But, you know, think about it. And I'm bringing this up too, because a lot of a lot of people buy cars this time of the year. You know, the car lots are just full of cars, and they're selling them people, oh, it's nice outside. I'll go out there. It's hot out there right now, but, you know, people find themselves working their way at the car lighter, or go at night, when it's a lot cooler, and make these massive purchases. And if you are going to purchase the vehicle, okay, whatever car you like, make sure you know what the car insurance is first before you purchase the vehicle. It's that way. You that way. You won't find out after fact. Oh my god. I didn't realize that insurance was going to be that much money on the car insurance. So these, this is tools you can use. My name is John Marquez. I'm a licensed insurance agent offering home, auto life insurance, boat, motorcycle insurance. Contact number 702-236-2624, 702-236-2624, my business hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm located on the corner of Sahara Rancho in the US bank center located on the eighth floor. I love to meet you sit down and talk about your insurance concerns. Heard a lot over the years. Heard a lot over the years, so nothing surprised me anymore. Every now and then I hear something I've never heard before, but I know I know the right questions to ask, and if you're on medications, take a list of your medications. What I would recommend you to do is take a picture of your bottled medications. You don't have to bring the medications in. I've had people with the bags and medicine just put all the bags of medicine on my desk, and some of the pill bottles open, and pills just all over the place. You know, just I'm like, she said, Well, here's my pills, right here. You said, bring my pills in, and she put the pills on the desk, and the pills just flopped everywhere. That's not necessary, or you can make a list of the pills we need to know what medications you're taking. I'm here to help you. The way you make your insurance payments is a monthly draft directly out of your checking account. You can select the due date between the first and the 28th of each month. It. If you like to add a child writer on your life insurance policy, we also can add a child writer on your policy. You can select the due date between the first and the 28th a lot of people like the 15th of the month or the first of the month, and that's fine. Or if you want to put it on the 28th that's fine too. Again, you know, we all all need life insurance. We need a final expense, life insurance policy to pay for the cause of a funeral, because the funeral costs today are extremely expensive. Again. Benefits are paid in 24 hours, within 24 hours, and you can take as a beneficiary on a filing expense life insurance policy through Lincoln heritage Life Insurance Company, you could take an advance on that policy up to 80% now, when your loved one passes, you could take up to 80% of the life insurance policy when your loved one passes directly into your checking account and two business days, yeah, and two business days, my loved one passed the funeral home was asking me to, you know, use a life insurance policy as collateral. They're going to use a third party that they'll get the money from the third party because they don't want to wait for the for the death certificate. Okay, this is what they do. They don't at the mortuaries. They don't want to wait on a death certificate, but they will use your life insurance policy, the first thing they're going to do is pick up the phone and call the life insurance company to make sure the policy is active and file a claim on their portion of the life insurance policy. Now, what is left over goes to the beneficiary. However, if your loved one passed some natural causes, and this happen. This happens every day in the mortuaries. And your loved one only had accidental only. That policy is not going to pay. That policy not going to pay. And it happens all the time. Well, my dad died of natural causes, yeah, but he had accident only, life insurance, this. This is no good. He had to die from man. He didn't die from an accident, no. Well, this is no good. But if you go under in the mortuaries, what a policy, whole life policy that I'm talking about right now, take your loved one in, they'll they'll assign themselves, they'll charge you an additional 10% from the third party. So that's more money on top of what you're already paying. This is why it's good to have a policy through Lincoln heritage Life Insurance Company where you can advance up to 80% now you need your insurance agent like myself authorization to get the 80% within 48 hours. My name is Don Marquez for more information. 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 I'm here to help you. This is not hard to figure out. We need final expense. We all need filing expenses. And if you have loved ones that don't want to come in, like a husband, or don't want to come in for a life insurance policy as a spouse, you can take up to $20,000 a whole life insurance policy without your love, without your spouse? Well, we need the we'll need their personal information and their date of birth social security numbers, and you can take out a policy on your loved one. You pay the premiums, and they don't have to be there because I you can go. I don't want to go. I know. Man, they probably want to watch a baseball game or something. I don't know. We always make excuses, but this is our responsibility as men too, to take care of families, whether we're here or not. I offer policies up to 35,000 100,000 even well into the millions, of life insurance policies, 702-236-2624, thank you for listening. This is Donald Marquez at KU nv 91.5 jazz and more. I hope everyone had a safe Fourth of July. Your house didn't burn over, your car didn't burn up. We'll do this again next week. Until then, just keep it crispy. Thank you for listening.
