I'm 236, 2624, offer no obligation reviews on your current insurance policy. You bring in your current insurance policy, offer no obligation reviews. I'll take a look at your home, your auto, your life insurance, to make sure you update it. And if we could save money on a home and auto, let's, let's, let's see what we could do. I have triple A rated companies. I represent multiple you know, companies as a broker, it gives me the luxury of being able to shop for you, for your insurance concerns, for your insurance lines, your home, your auto, your life insurance, especially with life insurance, 60 companies, I have a lot of companies that you know just there's just a click away. You know, Prudential Mutual of Omaha, you know, Lincoln, heritage Life Insurance Company America Life Insurance Company, Protective Life Insurance Company, John Hancock, life insurance company, and the list just goes on and on and on and, you know, well known companies would, you know, triple A rating. I don't take any chances with any of my insurance companies that I work with. Just don't I'm on a radio right here at KU nv 91.5 you know, I don't want to put myself in a position of, you know, where I don't feel right with the company that I put you with. And the reason why I say that because I select my companies very carefully. 30 years in the insurance business, I know what companies will write certain business and some companies I won't write for at all. Because, you know, I'm in a position of I'm in a position of trust, I'm in a judiciary position of trust, and I cannot take any chances with a company. Well, let's say they won't pay a claim. They find ways to wiggle out paying a life insurance claim or paying auto insurance claim, and I know what companies out there that practice that they take the clients through all kind of changes to prove that they were injured in a car accident. And although you know the doctors and the physical therapists may say, yes, your client was injured as a result of the accident, there are companies out there to try to wiggle their way out and not paying a claim. I avoid those companies at all cost. And I have them come to me and said, Well, you know what, we would love for you to write business for us in the state of Nevada. You know you, you've experienced you, you have a lot of integrity. And if you want to check me out, ah, you're welcome to just contact the Division of Insurance right here in Southern Nevada, located on Sahara, you can give them a call. I have no complaints in 30 years. Not one complaint in 30 years. You know, please Donald Marquez call the Division of Insurance and said, We just like to know if there's anything on him that we need to know about, because I want you to feel comfortable doing business with me, and I want to feel comfortable doing business with you. And the reason why I say that because I may ask, ask pertinent questions about your health. I need to know. I need to know about your medications, what type of medications you're on, you know, and you know. So that is part of the process for me to find out what life insurance company I can place you with. Now, with your auto insurance, I need to know all the licensed drivers in the household. Sometimes people like to conceal certain drivers in the house, so especially those younger drivers. If you have younger drivers on your house, on you and your car insurance rate is skyrocketed because your young driver does not have a vehicle, you know. And let's say they use share right? Or maybe they drive your car on occasion. But you know, you have an option for them to get an ID card versus a driver's license. Maybe you will may want to consider that ID card versus the driver's license. If they're not driving your cars, if they're not driving your cars, you probably would encourage them when they turn 1618 to get an ID card, because your your car insurance rates with the younger drivers are there. They're really going to get very expensive on you. And I know everybody's Well, you know, my kid is a good kid, and they make straight A's and they're student at UNLV. I've heard it all, but your child does not have any driving experience behind the wheel. Very short time behind the wheel. They don't pay attention. They text and drive. And I know well, my child doesn't do that, but the rates reflect it, because what the insurance companies do with car insurance, they look at the average what a teenager, 18, a 20 year old, or even go back as far as a 16 year old, their driving habits, and they and they rate you on that young child's driving habits. This is not the 70s anymore. You know, back in the day when, you know, growing up, my dad put me on his car insurance. It was a little nothing. It wasn't that much. But today is a whole nother story, because people have these luxury cars. You know, these luxuries vehicles. You know 8090, $100,000 or more. And now they putting Junior on, and he's only 16. Come on now for real. You know, maybe you want to think about that. And before you put junior or your young lady on the policy, get an insurance quote with without them on the policy. First, I can help you. 702-236-2624

702-236-2624, now, we had a lot of rain last week, and if you do need to file a claim because you have rain damages, water coming through the roof, there's mold or anything like that. You want to file a claim as soon as possible, and don't let it, you know, just accumulate, sit around the mold, accumulate, and don't call the insurance company for three, four months, and now we have another rain and it's gotten worse. Your claim could be denied because they'll look at it as a pre existing condition. So if you have roof damage as a result of the winds and rains, you should know what your coverages are on your homeowners policy, especially your deductible, and on the homeowners you don't have to pay that deductible. You they'll just minus it from your settlement. Now, you do have a choice, even with auto insurance claims. You know, a lot of times too, they said, Well, you know, when your auto insurance claim, you could take it to our preferred auto repair shop. That's what the insurance companies tell you. You can take it anywhere. You want. But when you take it to their preferred auto insurance carry, because they guarantee the work, all body shop repair shops should guarantee the work, so you don't necessarily have to take it there, because what they're gonna do, they're gonna take your deductible and put it right in their pocket if there is a deductible to pay. For instance, your fault, you have to pay your deductible. Your deductible is $1,000 what they're going to do is put that deductible right in their pocket at the body shop. Okay, the insurance company does not get that money. They put that money in their pocket, which I suggest you do on all claims. Not only you know all claims, get a cash settlement, get three estimates and get a cash settlement. Now, if you have $1,000 deductible on your vehicle or your homeowners policy, they'll minus that deductible out of your settlement once you get your three appraisals, if the insurance company comes out and send their insurance appraiser out and they and they low ball you. You show them your two or three estimates and say, okay, you know what? Here's they're saying. It costs this much money to get it repaired, and you're low balling me. You can, you can fight that in your behalf. You can fight that in your behalf and get the right settlement you deserve to go back Whole Again, to put you where you were before this incident happened. But you do have to act. You do have to act. You cannot just say, okay, oh man, this is second time, third, fourth time. It's rain this. This roof is falling in. It's getting worse and worse and worse. Now the insurance adjuster comes out, and now you get very frustrated, because now they're gonna say, I'm sorry, Mr. Insured, or Mrs. Insured, this is a pre existing condition. This is a lot worse than what you're telling me, and this has been going on for some time now. In most cases, they may do the repair work or they may settle you because you've been paying on the policy for a very long time, but they do to have that option. They the insurance companies do have an option to bail out if there's a pre existing condition and you fail to respond. Now I do say, have an inspection on your home. Take a look at your home, your condo, if you're upstairs, especially if you're upstairs or downstairs on the condos. If you have a upstairs downstairs, look underneath the cabinets, especially your bathroom cabinet. Look underneath the cabinet the you know, the kitchen cabinets where the water lines are behind the washing machine, to make sure there's no leaks. Because if there are leaks, and those leaks have have caused damage over time again, these insurance companies can bail out and say, well, there's a pre existing condition, and you did nothing about it. But I understand their insured position too as well, because if there's a leak underneath your kitchen sink and you don't check on a regular basis, well you wouldn't know or if there's a leak behind your washing machine and you don't check, well, you don't know. Well, this is why it's important, you know, to make sure when you when you look at your house, do an inspection from time to time to make sure everything's on point. And here's one we all should do more frequently. I just did it within the last couple of years. I had a company come to my home. I've been living in my house now for 27 years. Okay, two years ago, I was online on my computer, and all of a sudden it popped up some information about people coming out, taking the lint out of your your vent lines from your dryer. Your dryer accumulates a lot of vent now, you know the little the little fan, that little filter you have that's nothing compared to what's in the lines, in the vent lines, then the vent lines. Now, when it vents out, it vents out away from your house. What they do? They come in and they suck out all all the lint from the lines they show you the before and after. And it's amazing how much lint they pull out of your lines. And it's very affordable. It was it was it was it was a lot less than I thought it would be. And they was only there for about 45 minutes to an hour, and they pull out a lot of lint. I'm like, It's 2725 years worth of lint that has built up over time and that could cause a fire. Yes, it could. It could cause a fire. I've seen it happen over my many years in the insurance industry, where the the lint in the vent lines from your dryer created a fire. Now you may say, Well, you know, I changed a little filter. Every time I dry my clothes, I take the little filter out that's nothing compared to what's in the lines that blows out and it blows out on the side of your home, or blows out on the side. It blows out somewhere. But those need to be all that lint needs to be removed from the VIN lines, to to to because you're creating. Hazard leaving those vent lines, you know, full of lint that could cause a fire, you know. And then who knows, you know, you might be out of your home for four or five months, or even longer. Just depends. I would also advise, when you finish washing your clothes, turn off the water lines behind the washing machine, huh? Yeah, yes, turn off the water lines. You have a hot and a cold. Or sometimes you just have a lever there for hot, it's just cold, or just or the lever for both hot and cold, just turn on water lines off. And the reason why I say this because the water pressure on your washing machine lines constantly builds up the water pressure on those washing machine lines, because of the pressure of the water gonna fluctuate up and down, up and down. Eventually, the water lines is connected to your washing machine will eventually break and now you're gonna have a flood. Happened to me twice before I got into the insurance business, before I realized I need to turn this water I need to turn the water lines off on the washing behind the washing machine. When, when my wife, at the time, was finished washing clothes, we had two floods. One flood was so bad we came downstairs, and I must have, I probably had about four inches of water down. I had to call in to work and say, I have a flood in my house. I can't go in, and I had to go, you know, I had to get some people come out and suck the water out. It was really bad. It was really bad. So, you know, these, this is News. You could use little things like this prevent you from filing claims, help to keep your your car insurance or homeowners insurance rates lower. And you're not inconvenience, you know, it's not an inconvenience to turn the water lines off when you finish washing clothes. Now, when you turn need to wash clothes, you turn them back on, wash your clothes, and then turn them off. That's what I do. That's what I do because it prevents the pressure that's on those water lines on the washing machine from breaking. Eventually they will break. My name is Dave Marquez. Hopefully that is news. You can use my contact phone number is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624, if you just tuning in, welcome to the show I broadcast right here, k, U, M, V, 91.5, jazz and more. Now, for the last, I don't know, three years, you know, and I want to thank Dr Ridley for giving me this a unique opportunity to come on the air to educate you about your insurance. And also my main man West, he's the best keeping my time, keeping me on time. That's what he does. And you know, he just makes sure everything's on point. I want to thank the listeners that contacted me and purchased home, auto and life insurance. Let's think about life insurance, my favorite subject. Why do you need life insurance? You know, think about it. Why do you need life insurance? One of the good reasons you need life insurance, what you need to do is take out a piece of paper. Take out a sheet of paper, write down all your obligations. Write down all your obligations. And this, this is the people you know that really don't think they need life insurance. Write down the mortgage. Or if you're a renter, write down your rent, your monthly rent, write down your your car payment, your car insurance, or all your bills, your utility bills, your credit card bills, your food, your gas, write everything down, even your savings account, write all down, and come up with a total and your income. And you look, okay, this is what these are allowed my ability. This is my assets. These are my liabilities. Now take yourself out of the equation. Say, Okay, if I'm not, if I'm no longer here, how are these bills going to be paid?
Donald Marquez 18:48
You have to ask yourself the question, because now you can see it on black and white if you, especially if you married, or you have a partner, or you have children that you're responsible for, or maybe, maybe even older parents that you're reliable you're responsible for because they rely on you to be there now, especially if you're in a situation with a husband and a wife or partners today, because you you rely on that extra income. But when that that income is gone, and that person is gone because the income is gone. How do you expect your family that you love very much to survive? You know, life insurance is a gift of love. You're not doing anything but saying, you know, I'm gonna take care of my family, whether I'm here or not. Young lady I talked to just just less than five days ago, she is a foster parent, single foster parent. She just purchased a home. Home was almost a little over $500,000 and she said, I'm 30 years young. Should I buy life insurance? And I said, Well, you're a foster parent. Or do you plan on having your own children? Or what is your what is your. Future plans. She said, Well, you know, eventually I want to adopt at least a couple of these foster children and raise them on my own. But I'm not married, and I'm a foster parent. Just bought a house, and as she said in her words, if something happens to me, if I have a premature passing, I want to make sure that my foster children have a home or, you know, or if they there's some responsibility on her part that she felt at a young age, she needed to take action. Well, we looked at some options for her. I presented her, she told me her budget. I was able to get her $500,000 of Term Life Insurance for 3030, years for around mid $40 a month, mid $40 a month, that's a little over $1 a day, a little over $1 a day. And she was excited. She could not believe 500,000 years away. She said, Wait a minute, you're healthy. You're only 30 years young, but I was able to get a $500,000 worth of Term Life Insurance for 30 years, and her payment is in the mid $40 a month payment. And she said, Well, I pay, I pay more than that going to, you know, fast food restaurants two or three times a month. I pay more than that for to get my nails done almost every two weeks. She said I didn't think I could afford life insurance. Because what was happening with her is she just purchased a home and she was getting all these offers, you know, mortgage protection. What is mortgage protection? Well, mortgage protection is totally different what I offer, because mortgage protection puts the puts the mortgage company as a beneficiary, and as your mortgage goes down, also does the face amount of the policy, but your payment stays the same. Now I don't, I don't like right? I don't write policies like that. I don't, because as your mortgage go down. Now your face amount goes down, but your payment stays the same. I'd rather your payment stays the same on your life insurance policy, as well as the face amount of the life insurance policy stays in place for the term of the policy. Now, your mortgage goes down, and if you pass, have a premature passing your beneficiary receives the benefit of the full benefit, not a partial benefit, the full benefit among if you have to, if you pass at a premature age before the term is up on the life insurance policy. And don't think it can't happen to you. Well, you know, I don't think that's gonna happen to me. I live forever. No, you're not. We all have a date. We do just a matter of time. But are you prepared when you, when I, when I said, earlier in the program, if you just tune it in as early in the program, I said, write down all your your your liabilities, your assets, your total income, and take your name off the page like you don't exist anymore. What happens to all that liability, that responsibility, those monthly payments to the credit card company, to the medical bills, house payment, rent, car insurance, carp, loan payment. What happens to all of that food gas if you're no longer there and you when you when you die, your income dies along with you, or maybe half of your income survives and you're gone. How is your loved ones, your children, your spouse? How are they going to survive? That can help you find a policy that will fit in your budget. We can take out a policy comes directly out of your checking account. You can select a due date between the first and the 28th of each month. And if you have young children that's 17 years or younger, we can add them on as a child rider. We can do that without a physical My name is Don Marquez. This is your insurance connection. 702-236-2624, 702-236-2624. And if you say, Well, you know, I don't want to take a physical, okay, I have day one insurance. In other words, if you don't want to take a physical, that's fine, because I do, I do have companies that will write you and you insure day one, up to $450,000 of coverage. Day one coverage up to $450,000 in most cases. Now in those, those particular cases, when you have diabetes, lupus, the history of cancer, young blood thinners, let's have a conversation. I can get you a life insurance policy. If you've been turned down for life insurance, don't give up. I am a licensed insurance agent with 60 companies, and I specialize in particular companies that will find the coverage that you need regardless of your underlying health condition, without a physical. 702-236-2624, 702-236-2624, my name is Don Marquez. I'm a life. Says insurance agent right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I love what I do. I would love to meet you. You know, we sit down and talk about your insurance right at my office located in the Sahara Rancho in the US bank center eighth floor. I work by appointment. 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 my business hours of Monday through Friday, from 10am to 5pm I'm available, and I can write a policy over the phone. If you don't want to come in by appointment, that's fine. We can make a phone appointment, and you know, we'll sit down and have a phone appointment and talk about all your insurance coverages that you know, and you'll feel you'll walk away saying, Wow, I never knew I was paying for that type of insurance and I was not covered. Don't ever think to yourself when someone asks you what you were, what are your auto insurance coverages are? Don't just say, I have full coverage. You may have or may not have full coverage. Just because you have collision and comprehensive doesn't mean you have full coverage. In the insurance industry, we don't use that term full coverage. We just don't because there's coverages you may or may not have. You may not have uninsured motors, you may not have rental car reimbursement, you may not have roadside service, you may not have medical so if I'm if I even suggest a full coverage policy, that means all the coverages are being paid for on your policy, within your premium payment each month. So you know, this is why it's important to have a review, because I've talked to so many people full coverage, you know, so I look at their policy on they have is liability and collision income and $1,000 deductibles on each. That is not a full coverage policy. It is just not you have the minimum state requirements, and you have $500 deductibles on each, or $1,000 deductibles on each collision and comprehensive that is not full coverage. For more information, my name is Don Marquez. I got your attention on that one, didn't I? For more information, my name is Don Marquez, 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 2362624, you won't realize how much or how much, how less coverages you have, until you get in a car accident. And if you do get in a car accident, I have to say this, you do have the option, you know, to work with your insurance company, to work with your insurance company through the claims process, even if you're injured and as a result of not your fault, you can work with your insurance company and your insurance agent to get identified to be settled without an attorney. Now you do have an option to get an attorney. Every case is different. That is your option. But you know, for these, some of these smaller cases, you run out and get an attorney that may or may not be to your advantage, because that attorney is going to take 40% of your money, 40% of your settlement. You know, you get the wreck. They get the check. I I've had accidents, and I didn't need an attorney. I just did it all alone. But it is your option. I'm not saying now don't get an attorney, because if you hit by a commercial vehicle, I think you need an attorney for that. But there are some cases, these small, little cases, where a lot of people can do this on their own. This is why the one of the reasons why insurance rates are skyrocketing here in Southern Nevada, and a lot of these auto insurance carriers are leaving.
