And someone wanted to ask me about pet insurance, which I don't have for pet insurance. I know that you can't insure your pets. But you do have to go to the veterinarian for that. Now, I am an insurance professional. But all insurance agents don't offer all insurance products. I offer home auto life insurance, homeowners renters, pet boat and motorcycle insurance. But when it comes to pet insurance that's out of my expertise. I understand you can go to vet, the veterinarian shop where they you know, take care of the little dogs and cats and how all the different animals and you can ask them about pet insurance. That's one of the questions was asked. And also one of the requests. Can I talk about people that have been turned down for life insurance because they have underlying health conditions? I thought it was quite interesting. People at writing my show for me. That's not That's okay. That's okay. I love the I love the response from our listeners. And I and I will do a show today on people with illnesses you know, that had been turned down for life insurance and there's a reason why you've been turned down. You know, all insurance companies offer insurance life insurance. You know, I wouldn't say all most insurance companies, your major insurance companies will offer you life insurance when we're talking about to, you know, to all states of the world as they farms, farmers, they will offer life insurance. And I work for these companies all state and also work with AAA I retired from AAA, but you have to understand as a consumer. Now you may have been with these companies for many years on your auto insurance now you feel that it's time you need to get life insurance. Everyone listening to this program, need life insurance, everyone needs life insurance. However, you may not fit in that box. People get turned down for life insurance because these companies they offer auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renter's insurance, maybe in a little bit of commercial insurance. In all insurance companies don't offer all insurances as well as all customers doesn't fit for life insurance. Life insurance does have his under underwriting guidelines. If you don't fit in that underwriting guideline, box or circle, you will not be qualified for the insurance. Now, again, I was requested to talk about this on my radio talk show radio K u and v nine 1.5 Jazz and more, because I felt it is important subject to talk about. Now as an insurance agent working for Allstate and AAA. I worked for Allstate for seven years. And then I went to AAA. And I stayed there long enough to retire. During both companies, I noticed that when people will come in and they had underlying health conditions, that they would get turned down for life insurance, and I couldn't understand it because I would have to pick up the phone, call a broker and say, Can you insure my client, I have the auto insurance. I have the homeowners insurance or the renter's insurance. However, I can't write the life insurance, because they have diabetes, or lupus, or history of cancer, or they're taking blood thinners. Or maybe they have kidney or liver disease or even COPD. And the broker would tell me yes, every single time when I contact a broker, they would offer my clients a whole life insurance policy. Now the whole life insurance policy is designed for that final expense life insurance with it without underlying health conditions. With a whole life insurance policy, the companies have found a way to deny it not to deny people coverage. In other words, now they have a modified policy and they have a final expense life insurance policy. With the final expense life insurance policy. Most customers are insured day one, day one, you're insured. Now with a modified policy, there is a two or sometimes a three year wait wait period, excuse me, sometime a two or three a two year or three year wait period. Now the wait period for a three year is 49 years and younger. If you have underlying health condition. In other words, for example, you have a history of cancer within the last five years. If you have a history of cancer and you're taking cancer preventative medication, and you 49 years or younger, there is going to be a three wait three year wait period on a modified life insurance policy. Now with the final expense policy, regardless of your age, so age from the beginning to age 8085. If you qualify for final expense, that means you're insured day one for more information. I can search for the different companies I represent multiple life insurance companies, but usually sitting down and having a conversation with you going over your prescribe medications, I can determine where you're fit, you will where is a good fit for you. I recognize the companies that I represent underwriting guidelines for life insurance, and I'm gonna make sure I put you with the right company, your rates are locked in for life, the rates and benefits are locked in for the life of the policy. This is what you need. When you have underlying health conditions. If you have a family member with lupus or you have lupus yourself, don't give up, I can get you a life insurance policy. If you have a life, if you have a life insurance policy that you haven't reviewed in quite some time for no obligation reviews. In other words, you can come in my office with your life insurance policy, I am not going to charge to go over your policy with you. Many of you have life insurance policies for a very long time. But you haven't updated your policy, or you haven't read your policy just to see what you are. And sometimes, you know, you may say to yourself, well, you know, I've had my policy for a very long time I pay my premiums every month, I'm good. You're the ones that need a review. Because things may change. You know, things may change or your policy could change as you age in life. Now, I don't have all the answers when I'm on the air because people we know sometimes they contact me over the phone and they'll say you know my policy is and they can't describe what they have. This is the most amazing part that blows me away. They cannot tell you what they have. They have a life insurance policy. They don't know whether that's cash value. They don't know if it's going to expire. Some people say I have a term policy but it's good to 90 Age 95 These are the ones that need an insurance review so you can better understand what you're buying what you're paying for each month. Now when you buy a policy by way of mail, that information comes in the mail by well known companies and you fill it out and you send it back, and they mail you a life insurance policy. I don't agree with that. I really don't, because, you know, you don't know what you're paying for. Because you're not sitting down talking to me about your insurance concerns. Everyone is different, everyone doesn't fit in that box. So when you get an offer in the mail from these well known companies, you know, really think twice about it, give me an opportunity before you fill out that information and send it in. Once you send an information in to these insurance companies, they'll review your policy they said, Okay, there's there's no man medical check, everyone is accepted. But there is going to be a wait period with those policies, they're not going to insure you day one. And most of you do qualify for insurance day one, it's not that difficult. Again, 702-236-2624. Let's take this step by step. When you purchase life insurance. It's a very, you know, very step by step process that you need to fully understand what what you are paying for, you know, life insurance companies have life insurance agents for a reason. We're here to represent you. We are here to inform you all about the policy. We have to study the the underwriting guidelines, we have to study the policy, we have to be able to read the life insurance policy to tell you exactly what you have. Whether you where is your cash value at, you know, how does that accumulate your cash value in a life insurance policy. You know, the most important page of the life insurance policy is called the index page, or the table of value page. And they said most insurance policies, if you don't have this information, or you just get every year you get a summary of what's going on with your life insurance, contact your life insurance company, and have them send you a index page, I want to see exactly what my policy is doing. And if my annual premiums will change as I age in life. Now, if you only have $10,000 with life insurance, and you purchase a policy years ago, and you don't want to be cremated, okay, you don't want to be cremated. $10,000 is not enough to take care of your final expense. It's not enough to bury you. Not today, the cemeteries are requiring all caskets be put in a container. Okay, all caskets put in the container, and they put a lid onto the container. Now when they filled the plywood dirt. The casket doesn't end, the dirt doesn't taste touch the casket, okay, so the dirt doesn't touch the casket is in the container. And that's an additional fee. And those fees run around 4000. And up just depends on the type of container that you received. Now, if you purchase your cemetery, went to a cemetery purchase a plot and you also purchase a package to take care of your final expenses. Why because you didn't want your family to be concerned about you know, paying for this very expensive funeral and you bought your pre need years ago, you bought your pre need years ago. But today things have changed at the cemeteries and in that original pre need that you purchase years ago. They didn't they did not include the container. Now that container is an additional costs, along with the opening and closing and the headstone. But it's costing me $20,000 To bury dad today. Now, you know, 1520 years ago $10,000 was probably enough money to take care of that final expense, but not today. You know what the plots were running about? anywhere from seven to $10,000. The service itself was around about 12,000 That's a $22,000 funeral very easily. Be prepared, you must pay attention to what's going on all this inflation in that affects not only everything that we're doing, but also it affects when you know we lose a loved one. We want to be able to celebrate that loved ones passing. It's very difficult to lose a loved one I've lost loved ones that are very near and dear to me. But when it comes to that time when you have to take care of that final expense. It gets very expensive, quick. And you said you said well you know I know dad mom had a policy and they bought years ago but it's only $10,000 worth of coverage. Now you may be the responsible person that you are have to pay more money toward the services And then they pay for originally, because of cost of inflation. Now, this just didn't happen overnight. This took awhile to accumulate. Now, you gotta understand these federal homes, they the funeral homes, they their prices go up every six months, it gets very expensive. Eric, we're really quick. Now the service itself is No, when they get sent you to see show this package at the funeral home, they will, okay, look at the package. Oh, that's 12,000 nose. Okay, but that's not including the plot. When I offer life insurance policy, I want to make sure we have enough in the policy to pay for all these expenses, and enough in the policy to take care of inflation as well. So all policies, you know, final expense policies are not inflation proofed. Because the you know, the bottom line is that the whole life policy is up to $35,000 in coverage. That's enough, it ran for a while to take care of most of all final expenses right now. I mean, if he wants to very, very elaborate when a funeral costs $50,000 That's, that's way over the top, but you know, to each his own, but at $35,000 worth a whole life courage. You can you can get it done. Put your loved one to rest with dignity and pride. And no one is gonna throw you you know, to the dumpster or leg me. I've heard those old sayings before, I don't care what they do to me. Even on your cremations today, you know, they're they're up there at eight to $10,000 with a with a ceremony. Now you do have a low cost cremation without a ceremony, or you have your own private ceremonies, but you want to put your loved ones away with dignity. You know, again, at the beginning of the show, I talked about when our listeners wanted me to talk about people with underlying health conditions, that has been denied. Keep in mind term does not have a cash value people tell me Well, you know I had this policy, and I was paying on a pan on and all of a sudden, you know, the policy ran out and I was still living. That was a term policy. You purchase a term life insurance policy. You thought you bought something else because it does say at age 95 And most people think well you know I'm good because my policy is going to last the age 95 But without any one telling you exactly what you purchased when you bought the policy. You know you're paying money for something that you don't quite understand you're paying for. I don't think that's fair to you. I really don't and and when that time comes and it does come for all of us it's not if it's a when and when that day comes and it comes for all of us. Are is your family going to be a surprise by not you have in the right life insurance or are there going to be very surprised that you only had accidental life insurance, accidental life insurance does not cover if you have a stroke heart attack, accidental life insurance does not cover when you pass away of natural causes. Accidental only life insurance only covers accident only covers accident who wants to die of an accident anyway. You want to die of an accident with your loved one surrounded by you. People praying over you kissing you telling you they miss you. They're gonna love you for the rest of your life. You know they're saying good things, you know, that's how you want to go, you don't want to go in a fatality of fatal accident, who wants to do that? You know, you know, your loved ones, if you take in your last breath and life, you live your long life, and your families around you, you know, just that ain't see you leave. But this is a part of life we have to deal with. Now, once that part is over, then you have to go on into taking care of the financial part of loved ones passing of a loved one's passing. Now, when you have a life insurance policy, and your family members know what the life insurance policy is, and your family members know who the primary beneficiaries are, it makes it a lot easier to celebrate. Your loved ones passing is never easy to lose a loved one. I know I've lost loved ones. And I've seen people that lose their loved ones. And they come to me. And they tell me, You know what we paid for three funerals. Within the last five years, we're not doing that anymore. We need life insurance on our family members. I've had that happen multiple times. And as an insurance professional in the business since 1996. I've delivered death benefits. I'm a licensed insurance agent, I love what I do, I really do. But I find the need to come on the radio, and educate our listeners in my in my beautiful city, Las Vegas, Nevada I was born and raised in and to tell them the right life insurance policy to purchase. And I know sometimes, you know, there's there's commercials on television, that is totally misleading. And then you call up and you say I want that plan for less than $10. And you find out right away.

All that plan is worth is not worth that much money for less than $10. He said he said, Well, that's called the insurance for, for 999, or whatever the number is they throw out there. That's no insurance. That's not enough to buy the flowers. But it's catchy because you make that phone call. And people do it every single day that's ever have a real conversation with a policy that will fit in your budget. You know, most people qualify what health issues is Whole Life benefits up to $35,000 in coverage, there is no health examination to apply just a few health questions. One page application that I fill out, I fill it out rates and benefits are locked in for the life of the policy. And we can also can include accidental death and dismemberment. Hence enhancement with your life insurance policy. And with accidental death benefit, it pays double in case you're you have a fatality and auto accident, it'll pay the accidental portion. And it also pay the whole life benefit portion, your beneficiary can receive the benefits within 24 hours with a death certificate or at time a knee you can get up to 80% of the life insurance policy without a death certificate. And the insurance companies look at it like Lowe's, you fill in prescription, you know, they're gonna base you your qualification or your age. You know, based on your age and the medicines that you're currently taking. It's not that difficult. The process only lasts about 30 minutes and 30 minutes, you can walk out of my office with life insurance, and I'll give you a sigh of relief. And when people purchase life insurance, the first thing they say is, you know what I should have done this years ago. I don't know why I waited, you know and don't The first thing you cancel is your life insurance policy. If something comes up in your life, do not cancel your life insurance policy. That's your savings account. That's your money when your family going to need that money one day to take care of your final expenses. Don't cancel your life insurance policy. There's other things you can cancel. Maybe you know maybe not going to the casino as much. You can cancel that. If you're gonna have to have a drink. So I'm sitting in the backyard. So there's things you can do to make minor adjustments. So you can't afford a life insurance policy. You cannot afford not to have one. Okay. You're gonna be the owner, the payer and the beneficiary of your spouse's policy, because, you know, they don't want to talk about they don't want to come in if you want to buy me a life insurance policy that's on you. I'm quite sure we've all heard that conversation. That's okay to you. We don't we want we're not need your spouse, we duck. We do need the Social Security information, and the date of birth, of course, address, etc, etc. There is no other health examination, the information did you receive in the mail, do not fill it out and send it in. It's most of disguises, travel, accidental, motor vehicle, motorcycle, accidental insurance, and another rates look extremely attractive. You can get a $300,000 worth of life insurance for pennies on the dollar. Come on, you know, something's wrong with that. And then you're 75 years on, you know, that doesn't sound right as well, you know, I got I got this offer in the mail. And they offered me a million dollars worth of life insurance. And I'm only paying less than $10 a month. Well, you know, that's all accidental. That's all accidental. As an insurance professional, I've never known accidental only pan out. Now when it comes to life insurance, we can make it very simple and very easy for you. The premiums will come directly out of your checking account. It's a monthly draft, you can select the due date between the first and the 28th of each month. And if you have a child that's 17 years or younger, we can add a child rider on the life insurance policy. Very simple, very easy. If you need more than one beneficiary, we also can have more than one beneficiary on the policy. Now if you want 20% going to your church 20% going to your nonprofit we can also set up arrangement for that too as well. If you need a contingent beneficiary, that means if your primary passes away before you do, the contingent beneficiary moves up and the primary position.
