Good morning in Las Vegas. Good morning. My name is Don Marquez, and welcome to another edition of your insurance connection. I'm an insurance professional. I've been on the air now kicking the V 91.5 Jazz and more little over a year and a half. And I want to thank the customers that has contacted me to purchase home auto and life insurance. Thank you for your continued support. I also received a call from way from Arizona, people listening to the show in Arizona, California. And also the Tennessee people have tuned in at K u and v 91.5. You know, you can streaming all over the country and pick up the radio station. And you know, listen to the variety of programs that we offer right here at KU envy 91.5 Jazz and more on my show. I specialize in talking about insurance. And today we're gonna talk about life insurance, one of my favorite topics to talk about when it comes to life insurance. And I have a gentleman with me today. He just been recently licensed in the state of Nevada. His name is Toro Williams, and welcome to the shelter of Thank you. Thank you Welcome. Yeah, okay, you know, he's recently licensed in the state of Nevada, as an insurance professional, I was licensed back in 1996, you know, and today is 2022. But, you know, it's a wealth of experience learning this business, I don't want to welcome you to the business. And also, you know, you're looking to be a team member at your insurance connection. What you know, we do seek out agents that's recently passed the state exam, to adventure out in a new career, it's not a job. It's a career. Let me say that, again. It's not a job, it's a career. We do this, for one reason, and the loved have to help people. I love to help people. This is one of the reasons, one of the main reasons I got into the insurance business, especially to educate people on life insurance. People are misunderstood. When it comes to life insurance, there are a lot of moving parts. You know, my whole focus when it comes to life insurance, is to make sure that the customer is comfortable talking about it. Number one, people don't want to talk about death. They really don't. But it's inevitable, it's gonna happen to all of us. It's not if people like use that word, if very loosely, it's a win. So when we do this to help customers, when we talk to them about life insurance, I, you know, I, I'm, you know, I get joy when it comes to offering a life insurance policy that fits and someone budgets, you know, it gives them also peace of mind, the customer, the first thing they say, I should have did this years ago. And you know why they say that? Because they delayed they kick the can they procrastinate it, but now it's time to take action. Once you start this business. You know, my manager told me back in 1997, with Allstate Insurance Company, Ed Davis, you know, I give him credit, he told me to roll that you will not realize the value of what you do, until you deliver your first death benefit to a customer. And I delivered that first death benefit to a customer. And you know, and I, it was heartbreaking because I knew the client very well, she used to bring me food, and she had an untimely passing. And she left a six year old boy behind, and sister had to take care of her son. And you know that $100,000 life insurance policy that I delivered, came in handy because now she didn't have any children of her own. But she didn't has a sister's child or sister was deceased. Now she has to raise her only child. And I was I was grateful enough to to pursue with the customer to get the life insurance policy. She kept saying, Don, you know, I'm young, I'm UNLV I'm going to go to grad school now, man, he just did it. She was a 21 dealer on the strip. And I use her story. And as an example of you know, having a vision taking care of business at a young age, and she said you know what do you talk about it every time I come here to pay my car insurance, life insurance, okay, I forgot the policy. And it was really a very low cost to her. But her family was able to receive $100,000 to take care of a young child. These are one of the stories among many that I've experienced in my years of being a life insurance agent, home auto, but especially life insurance. You know, when family members lose a loved one, sometimes there is no time to grieve because they have to go into Financial, what are we going to do now financially? How are we going to pay for this very expensive funeral? What we're going to do, I mean, we and then we still have to pay a house payment, because this person had a house, we have to pay the utility bills, some of us have to take, take time off from work, we have to leave our jobs from other states, come here fly in for a funeral, you really don't have a lot of time to grieve, you don't because now you have to go in a certain mode of financial responsibility to close out one's estate. And if you've never closed out a person's estate is very expensive. The average person to close out their state in this in the United States is about $60,000. Did you know that $60,000 To close out in the state, we offer insurance life insurance or our customers, the cushion that below because when you want and you lose a loved one, the first thing you have to do is go to the funeral home. That's one of the first things you have to do. You have to talk to the funeral director and present a life insurance policy to the funeral director. And hopefully, that number one, you know, the first thing I'll do, Mr. Williams, they're going to contact the life insurance company. And why did they do that? To see if they're insured, right to see if they're insured to make sure the policy is active, right. That's one of my and they want to see what type of policy is now more and most cases, they already know what type of policy it is, because it's right on the top. And if you go in there with a loved one that passed away of natural causes, and you have what we call an accidental only life insurance policy, accidental only, you know, and this person, your loved one passed away of natural causes. They will not pay that policy will not pay an accidental only means accidental only if you fell off a mountain climbing a mountain you know your grandparents don't climb mountains, right have you parachute in that airplane and in the parachute doesn't deploy? Right? They hit the ground. That's an accident, right? But these accidental policy only policies are targeted to our senior citizens. And they feel like we know something is better than nothing. Something is better than nothing. Let me get this policy. That way. My family has something when I pass, but it's the room policy. And as a professional, now that you're licensed in the state of Nevada to offer insurance for our clients, you I'm gonna educate you on how to do this, how to talk like I talk how to speak like I speak and walk like I walk.

Unknown Speaker 7:31
Because it's important to me, I love what I do. As an insurance professional. My name is Donald Marquez, if you're just tuning in for the very first time, this is your insurance connection, my contact number is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624. I'm here with Terrell Williams. He's a new member of your insurance connection. And we just want to introduce him to our listening audience. You know, and if you know him, you can contact him when he goes on to talk about insurance to make sure your family is covered. You know, one of the leading causes of bankruptcy is because family members do not act. You know, it's a reaction. GoFundMe is and the you know, the car washes and selling food and that really doesn't work. I mean, the GoFundMe made a little money. But that's not your that's not your peace of mind. That is not your peace of mind. And what if you leave children behind? What have you who's gonna take care of them with no money? What kind of life do you think they're going to live without money to help them support them? They're live, their life will be altered. You know, their husbands out there and I have to say this to the to the guys out there if you're listening, and I know you are guys procrastinate way too long. Now women, the majority of my clients are women, because women, statistically, I'll live men sometime about 1520 years. Did you know that? Yes. Yeah. 1520 years out limit. Now, they want to make sure their financial future is secure. Now I've I've delivered death benefits to people in their 30s with two or three children. That's heartbreaking. You know, I did I delivered one policy to a young young gentleman was killed in a car accident. You know, he was killed in a car accident. talked to many times about life insurance, never bought it. You know, he had it on his job. That's what they kept telling me. Well, he has life insurance on his job. I said, okay, so job insurance didn't pay. You know why I didn't pay? Because for whatever reason, he didn't he didn't sign up for the job insurance. His wife thought he had it. And they only paid three times the salary. So he was making $35,000 a year, right? So three times the salary was $105,000. Now with three young children left behind, how long do you think $100,000 is gonna last? Not long, not long at all. Know what three young children you're talking about to feed them to clothe them to housing And his wife was a housewife, she did not work. I don't know how you survive over $35,000 You but they managed it. Because you know, childcare costs so much money. Now, although you're, you're the working spouse. And you know, and when that day comes, it comes from all of us. But if you have a premature passing and your spouse isn't on taking care of the young children, and they don't work, what happens now? What happens now to young children, the spouse has to go to work, do not have this happen to you. We can offer you a life insurance policy, we can get you qualified, that will fit in your budget. My name is Donnell Marquez, I'm the owner of your insurance connection, we I represent multiple life insurance companies, we can find a policy that will fit in your budget, we will find a policy that will help secure your family to give you the peace of mind that you need. We'll make sure that policy will fit your budget. Now when you're young, and you can get your 30 in your mid 30s with a young family. And I look at it like this for every one child you have, you should have at least one of the $1,000 worth of coverage. Now that's better than three times your salary at your job. Now, if your job is paying you $100,000 A year and you buy him their insurance right at your job, that's okay too. However, just think about this when you retire or you get laid off or you you quit or whatever, you know, you alter your career, that benefit does not go along with you. You know if they're gonna offer you life insurance to your job, take it as a benefit. But you know how to see you CEOs do at the top of the food chain, right? They're at the top of the food chain. They reduce benefits to put more money in their pocket right all the time, all the time and the employee has to take whatever's leftover crumbs or whatever left from the pie from the food chain. But take care of your own financial responsibilities by having your own individual life insurance policy. It really doesn't cost that much. Now if you can go to these coffee houses and spin what coffee like coffee I

Unknown Speaker 11:59
don't go to the coffee house it's five $7 for a cup of coffee times more welcome coffees, yeah,

Unknown Speaker 12:05
I grind my beans every single morning. Depending on what kind you know different flavors, a different flavor you know I don't know a tall from a small to a large you know, I get confused. I grabbed my beans coffee beans every single morning I have my cup of coffee it gets me going all one cup of coffee gives me because I was four shots of espresso with a little cream right? But I'm fired and wired all day long because i My heart is beating I'm ready to see customers talk to them about their financial future when it comes to life insurance. You know that that seven $8 cup of coffee you purchase daily or two or three times a day. You can have a life insurance policy. If you are a smoker and smokers turn me up, listen to me. If you are a smoker with no life insurance, what are you doing? You know, you can afford life insurance cigarettes. You know my cigarettes cost? I don't smoke. I don't smoke occasionally. You know if I'm at the cigar bar and that's like once every four or five years I'll have a cigar or if I'm on vacation and in a country that sell Cuban cigars. I might have my Monte Cristo Romeo Juliet you know just acting like I'm on vacation. I'm from Vegas, you know, showing off a little bit but that's what you do when you get your feet and ocean and is relaxing. Hey, have a cigar and but I don't smoke. I don't I'm not a smoker my mother used to smoke. And I used to get her not to smoke all the time. But you know, she was addicted to nicotine and she loved nicotine. I understand that. But what the price of cigarettes This is my point where the price of cigarettes if you reduce down you're smoking there instead of a pack a day, maybe a half a pack a day, you can afford a life insurance policy. Because now you've cut that down 50% You can afford a life insurance policy because you had high risk as a smoker with no life insurance 702 to three 620-620-4702 to 362624. My Location is in the heart of a beautiful city in Las Vegas, Nevada right across the street from the palace station Hotel and Casino. They're greeted by the receptionist they call me I'll come out and get you and take you back to my office we do no obligation insurance reviews. That means we sit down with you and I go over all your insurance policies your auto your home. Yes in your life insurance Donald Marquez at your insurance connection 7022 Do three 626 24 702-236-2624, I'm a licensed insurance broker, I do the shopping for you. Now, when we shop for you at your insurance connection, I only share the information with the company that we select. That's very important. When you go online to shop for insurance, any type of insurance, home, auto, even life insurance, and you go online looking for your insurance products, because you don't want to talk to an insurance agent, right, you want to do it yourself, you're sharing a lot of personal information with a lot of different people out there that you know, don't have your best intention, they really don't, they'll take your personal information and sell it, use it. And you're gonna receive a lot of phone calls, from companies all over the country. Now, you know, you're gonna get caught, you're gonna get least bombarded with calls, weeks from now, you know, you put your information online, because that's a lead, these companies out there will sell your lead to another company to four to multiple companies, your personal information is out there on the web. So what they're gonna do with your personal information along with your phone number, right, they're gonna sell that information to these companies. And these companies gonna sell it to the insurance agents or representatives, and they're gonna contact you for insurance, you're gonna receive a lot of calls, and you're gonna get, you know, a sour taste about insurance. I did not share your personal information i Your personal insurance agent, I want to I would love to meet you. Sit down and talk to you about your personal insurance, finances, no obligation reviews, if you have a current life insurance policy. And you find the policy going up. I don't want to say why this policy is going up. I bought this policy five years ago, now is a change in the rate. Why am I ready to change and see all this, it may be not explained to you because you went online about the policy, or you received this information in the mail, and you filled it out and sent it to NSA something is better than nothing, right? I'm an insurance professional, I've been doing this since 1996, I would love to meet you my contact number is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 Make the connection is not that difficult to do. And, uh, you know, I will spend at least an hour and a half to two hours with you. No Obligation review, I'll review your homeowners, your auto, your motorcycle, your boat insurance if you have those toys. And yes, we will talk about your life insurance policy. I have helped many of you that listen to this radio program, bring your life insurance policy in and will update what's going on with your life insurance policy. There are some times you have cash value in your life insurance policy. Now, if there's an emergency, okay, you need hey, I need $10,000 There's $10,000 in life insurance policy. Well, I didn't know that. Now, every year, the life insurance company will send you an update on your life insurance policy, right? They'll send you that update to let you know where your cash value is. Now, let's take let's take a for instance. You take out a life insurance policy, right? You take out a life insurance policy, you've had it for 10 years you'd be in on it, you have a policy that builds cash value. Listeners term insurance does not build cash value. Let me say that again. Term insurance does not build any cash value asset. It is what it is as low cost insurance up to 30 years. However, your universal life, your whole life product will build cash value. If If you borrow money from these policies, find a way to pay the money back or something toward it every single month, because it will erode the face amount of the policy over time. And you have to keep in mind, sometimes these life insurance policies when you borrow money, that's an 8% interest rate against the money borrow. Now, let's say seven years go by you don't pay that money back that $10,000 or 5000, or even $1,000 you borrow could double every seven years. It's called a rule of seven. It's called a rule of seven. Keep that in mind. Now I've helped people that borrowed money from life insurance policies, get out of that debt, and get a brand new life insurance policy. Now if you have diabetes, lupus, a history of cancer and you've been turned down for life insurance in the past, do not give up we can offer you a whole life insurance policy. benefits paid in 24 hours, whole life benefits up to $35,000 in coverage. There is no health examination, just a few questions that I fill out on the computer. One page easy application most people qualify for insurance, even with health issues. My name is Donald Marquez 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 located on the corner of Sahara and Rancho in the US bank center on the eighth floor. I work by appointment office hours Monday through Friday from nine Any 10 Sometimes 10 o'clock at night I work late. But I try to get at about five o'clock but I've been there since you know and I get really scared to chance to see my view because it's dark outside and then you know the strip is lit lit up. I want to get a chance to see the strip but I've been asked at 10 o'clock and I help them people like yourself because they say well, you know, I don't get off and work to eight o'clock. I don't get off work to six o'clock, I'll stay there. I'll say that I'll call you today have no appointment to make sure you are coming in. You know, because my time is valuable to my time is valuable. We're going to help you give you the peace of mind that you need for your fed that your family needs. You need this. I wish life insurance was mandatory like auto insurance. We have no problem putting car insurance on a car. And you know somebody's premiums with car insurance are very expensive. You know, people call me say You know, I just bought this Cadillac CTS and I own statewide insurance so expensive. Well, you just spent $80,000 for a car

Unknown Speaker 21:00
what do you think the insurance is gonna cost? You know, I mean cat. Chevy's causes mom watches a Rolls Royce 20 years ago, you know, it's everything's gone up. Everything has gone up, the cost of living has gone up, mortgages rent is gone up. We need to protect our families, we always find a way to adjust. You know, people call me all the time, hey, I live on a budget. I live on a budget to I think a millionaire and a billionaire that also lives on a budget right? They got a few legit they got to make sure the yacht as well. And that's all budget money, right? They gotta pay the staff. You got to pay for the mansion, keep the yard clean, and you know, cut into man. I mean, everyone lives on a budget. Let's find a policy that will fit in your budget. Get your family members at peace of mind. Funerals cost a day. The average funeral costs a day is $15,000. In my if you are a veteran, you can take your loved one. That person is a veteran, they can be buried in Boulder City Cemetery. Not a plot is taken care of because they are a veteran. I don't know what their requirements are for a veteran and you may need it a person DD 214. You know, maybe there are arrangements where they can pull a DD 214 for the veteran for that benefit. But at the Boulder City Cemetery, that is a substantial savings up to $7,000 for the opening the closing the headstone. Now, because you are a veteran, you may or may not have a full benefits of getting your funeral paid for it. That's a misconception. I'm also a veteran. And I know that for a fact, I've seen these veteran policies. As you get older, those policies face amounts will reduce. Okay, and it'll reduce even more as you get older. Now there have certain checkpoints, either at 7075 or even 80. But those policy face amounts will reduce because it is a term policy that you're purchasing from the Veterans Administration. Now if you're a federal worker, and especially your postal workers, I've seen way if you buy policies from the from the government, those policies also reduce as you get older, you're going to have your own personal life insurance policy that don't reduce the face amount is locked in. And also the premium is locked in 702-236-2624 My name is Donnell Marquez, this is your insurance connection. 702-236-2624. We broadcast right here K u and v 91.5. Jazz and more Sunday mornings, from 8am to 830. And right after the show we have wonderful Brian programming we have music and we have other talk shows to keep it live right here at 91.5 Jazz and more. My favorite radio station I go down the road got my convertible tied down listen to 91.5 Jazz and more. You know just listen to the jazz I love jazz I do you know you know the beat the beat the beat and you know nothing against the rap and then like that, but I love my jazz. As I get older, less and less, the less lyrics I want to hear. You know the legs, I just want to hear the music sounds nice and gentle on my ears. Because I can't do the boom, boom. You know, when the guys put on me, pull up next to me and they boom, boom, boom. Then I let the convertible tava because I let roll the windows up, I can't I can't do it. I want to hear my jazz and I want to be able to relax. I want to help you better understand your insurance. If you do have a life insurance policy. And you find the policy going up or you have a life insurance policy. And it's getting ready to expire you out you are out living your life insurance policy. Let's have a life insurance review. No Obligation we'll sit down and review your policy if I have to call a company to find out what's going on with your life insurance policy. As long as you give me permission. You're gonna we're gonna be in the same room together face to face in my office. I'll contact the company they will ask you Do we have your permission for Donald Marquez to talk to you and your behalf about your life insurance policy. Again, no obligation 702 to three 626 24 If you have a life insurance policy and everything looks good, I'll push it back to you, I've done this many times, push it back to you. So everything's good. Keep this. Now their time you have conditioned does change. All right? You have condition does change, you never know what life will kind of, you know what happens when you get up in the morning, you may be healthy one day and unhealthy to next. That happens all the time. Now, if you have a history of cancer, don't give up. As long as you stage one, stage two, with more than 12 months to live, we can get your life insurance policy 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 I want to help you help yourself, you know, life insurance is like this is one of those things that you know, when you when you have a life insurance policy. Please tell your family members what a life insurance policy is. What is the point of having life insurance, if you don't let the person know, son, daughter, husband, wife, you are my beneficiary. Now, if you have lost your beneficiary in the past, because it was your spouse, and she or he passed away, you need to add on an additional beneficiary. If you don't have a contingent beneficiary. A contingent beneficiary automatically moves in the primary position if you lost the primary beneficiary before the insurer passed away. In other words, your primary beneficiary passed away you haven't filled that primary position yet. The only thing you need to have to get a form from the life insurance company they will send you a form they can email it to you can fill it out, put your new beneficiary in that place. Now I do recommend do not put young children as your primary beneficiary that's 18 years or younger. Unless you're like 1718 You know that's okay. But if they're like 234 You know they need a little baby running around they're not gonna get a baby 100,000 a life insurance policy okay, but babies still in diapers they you know this insurance company is not going to issue a check out for the junior okay they're not gonna do it until Jr turns 18 Now once Jr turns 18 that will give whatever the face amount is minus any loans taken against the policy. June you get the full amount. Tax Free money 702-236-2624 My name is Donnell Marquez, this is your insurance connection. Give me a call. Let's talk about it. That's not that difficult. Make the connection 702-236-2624 enjoy a beautiful weather here in Las Vegas, Nevada. You know, that enjoyed it. I mean, no wind. I mean, this weather we have and I can't believe it, right?
