And you should know what you're paying for and the reasons why you pay as much as you do. You know we and Las Vegas, Nevada and Southern Nevada area. We pay a lot for car insurance. And people like why we pay so much for car insurance. And those are reasons for this. You know a lot of lot of car accidents, people text and drive you shouldn't do that causes our rates to go up. And the price of cars these days are very expensive. And you and that's one of the main reasons why car insurance is very expensive. It's always been a little expensive in Vegas. But now with the car prices, your average car costs over $20,000 You know that that's why our insurance rates a little higher. That's one of the reasons and another reason is to that. You know a lot of our senior citizens, they're not they're not watching the road like they used to. They're being preoccupied a lot of rear end collisions, they file a claim get a lawyer and then I get people calling me then when you hit 75 years young and sometimes you you get a rate increase in your car insurance if that is happening to you. So grab a cup of coffee and whatever you drink and having breakfast this morning and tune in to the show. Today I want to talk about final expense life insurance. final expense life insurance is a very important insurance to have. I know many of you have been turned down for life insurance in the past and you probably you know given up thinking I cannot get life insurance. Or if you get an offer for life insurance is a small policy that does doesn't do a lot. We're talking about maybe $5,000 face amount, maybe as far as up to $10,000 and there's a two year wait period or maybe even a three year wait period. Now with the policies I do offer up to 35,000 $30,000 in whole life protection you know there's sometimes not a two year wait period in other words you insured immediately. Day one of course there are always Prevention's and all life insurance policies. contestable period for the first two years for suicide and false statements that you give the insurance company because with the policies that are offer up to $35,000 in Whole Life coverage, there is no medical exam, no medic medical exam, we look at your prescribed medicines you currently taking within the last two years. Now if you've been turned down because you have lupus, you have heart disease, COPD, history of cancer or even and diabetes my diabetics out there, I know you've been turned down quite a bit. The life insurance companies, the major life insurance companies, you know that offering 100,000 and up for coverages, they're not taking diabetics, they're just not, unfortunately, I mean, it depends on your a one, c two. Now VA, once he is below seven is still a challenge, and you've been turned down I've been, I've talked to many customers in the past, coming in to see me that had been turned down because they have diabetes or a history of lupus, I can help you, I shop for the policy for you, we can cut that business over the telephone, or you can come into my office, we could sit down to have a conversation. I always like to talk to your beneficiaries. And the reason why I want to talk to you beneficiaries that let them know their responsibility as a beneficiary. Why is it important? Because a lot of times people don't know they're the beneficiary. And there are times when I've had family members come in my office is why are you making me the beneficiary, I don't want to have a life insurance policy, and you give me the you give me the money, it's like betting against you. Okay, so when we pass away, we have time in our lives when we're born. And the day we pass away, everyone passes away. It just nature's life is what happens when we're born, we're born to die someday, and transition on however, we leave a lot of responsibility behind with our loved ones. Now, as a beneficiary, your position has been a beneficiary is to take care of all the final wishes of the insured individual or the final wishes of your spouse or your loved one, to make sure everything is taken care of someone has to be responsible. And that beneficiary that is you as a primary beneficiary, you know, you can take the policy into the funeral, presented to the funeral directors and take care of their final expense. I know it's a very emotional time period is hard to grieve, knowing that you have to take care of this business. But also know too, that your loved one, you know made you to beneficiary, you don't have to pay for it. Look at it like that. Look at it. Like you know what you're doing me a favorite because you're not putting me in debt. You're not putting me in debt for $20,000 You're not putting me in debt $15,000 You're not putting me in debt for $10,000. And the funeral homes want all the money up front. When it comes to bear and a loved one, I've done this before. I know your pain. I know you grieving. I know it hurts. What hurts even more, when there's no financial resources. My name is Don Marquez, I'm a professional insurance agent, I can help you do this seamless process is very simple. We actually only about nine health questions, what medicines you're currently taking? I asked that question. Because I want to get you pre qualify for the life insurance policy. And if you have a loved one out there and you know that needs help this industry, it's and you want to put on a life insurance policy on them, I can help you with through Christine Banagher will make you the power of attorney that you can have power of attorney of this individual, we can get them up to 15 to $10,000 worth of life insurance, it just really depends that we'll have a policy on that individual that's out there, you know, just wiling out in the streets. And you know, we have family members that's like that, or maybe you know, someone is out there just like that. And you may be the responsible individual to take care of their final needs. What are you gonna do? I mean, you have your own responsibilities, the price of living has gone up. And now all of a sudden, now you have two or three funerals to pay for within a short period of time. It comes in threes, I guess there's just a lot of universe. You know, a person dies in your family, and all of a sudden now three or four months later has another person to pass away. It happens like that, within the within someone when it started happening. It happens within two years. You know, you lose two or three individuals. I don't know why it just allowed the universe. That happens. Now, if you haven't paid for a funeral in a very long time. It's a shocker. Today's funerals on average of $15,000. Let me say that clearly. Today's funeral today. Today, November 2022. These funerals are $15,000 and up. Make money. Make no mistake. I know if you haven't been to a funeral pay for a funeral in quite some time. is very expensive. Yes, it is. I mean, you're talking about the land, the casket, the headstone. The flowers, the repairs? Yes. Yes. The funeral. What about the other bills? What about the rent, the mortgage? food in the refrigerator? utility bills. They don't go away. When you pass away. This is right. This is someone else's responsibility. Now that you're gone and think about this When you're gone, you know you you're live want your loved one your spouse, whoever is left behind to take care of your final expenses. You know, I mean, the bills still come in. They don't stop because you're gone. What are you going to do? Now people say you know to me what $30,000 I can save that.

Unknown Speaker 10:20
And you haven't done it up to this point. If you're good at saving money, that's great. Most but most of us not because it's the really the cost of living you know, we squeezed in everywhere, nickel and dime to make it work. And some of us have to tap into our resources. Because the cost of living has gone up look at Rent today. Wow. I remember when I rent, years ago, my rent, my wife and I, we had we paid $500 a month for a two bedroom two and a half bath. Condo. Yeah, we did was renting a condo, before we bought our first house, we bought our first house back in 84. And then we'll spend a lot of money $500 A month a lot of money for rent, but today, you know, two and a half bath, you know, two bedroom condo, that would be a bargain at $500. They really were but today is not that it's not the case anymore. The average rent now for a two bedroom, two bath condo, we're looking at $1,500 and up, the cost of living has gone up mortgages have gone up. I remember my parents bought their first home in the early, late early, late 50s. I can't remember that when I was born. But anyway, but they bought the home they pay only $11,500 for their home. Today, your average house is what three to $400,000. If you can find, if you can find one, it costs a lot of money today to live very expensive to have children. And if you if you have children, and you're a single parent, we have other policies available for you. We do now just take a think about this. You're a single parent, you have a couple of children, they're young, single parent, you know, you have untimely passing, who's going to take care of those children, their final expenses. And those final expenses or college. Those final expenses are close. Those final expenses are just money for them to live, I will look at tennis shoes, you know what's a pair of sneakers costs, we and they were they don't they weren't all brand names today, who was going to continue, you know with their financial, you know who to take care of them financially.

Unknown Speaker 12:30
If you ever premature passing. My name is Don Marquez, let me help you through this process. I

Unknown Speaker 12:36
do care. I love what I do. I've been an insurance professional now since 1996. I can help you through the process. I represent multiple life insurance companies, we can find a policy that will fit in your budget. My contact number is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624. If you're reminded by watching television, about owning life insurance, I've seen these commercials on television. And is usually women talking to men. Honey, did you get a life insurance policy? While I'm trying to find something I can afford? Really? I mean, you know, you see it on television, I see it on television. And I said well, you know when you can get me to get that 995 plan that's out there. And it's very catchy. And I gotta give it to him. You know it works for them because it generates phone call 995 plan it is so misunderstood. The 995 plan is probably less than $1,000 in coverage for most people. Now if you over 70 is definitely your policy you're gonna pay per month 995 Cuz I've had and the reason why I'm bringing this up is this. I've had people contact me and say you can you beat the 995 plan and you're 75 years old. Come on, be realistic. You know, you don't get a lot of nothing today for 995 you can get two gallons of gas for 995 today, how is $9.95 per month gonna pay for fuel is not going to happen. It just generates a phone call. They say premium start as low as 995. That's that's the See you don't hear that part. Our premium start low as 995 I don't do catchphrases. I don't you know this is the this is based on your age, your health. You know, and I have policies if you're a cigar smoker, and you smoke cigars maybe once twice a month. We will not rate you as a smoker. If you smoke cannabis and cannabis only. We will not rate you as a smoker. However, if you smoke cigarettes, and you don't have any life insurance, and cigarettes as much as cigarettes cost today, you should have some life insurance. pack of cigarettes today, I think is wrong about $8 a pack. I don't smoke cigarettes. So I don't smoke cigars. So I don't I'm not a smoker. I'm not a smoker. I was on vacation. And I was in Cancun, Mexico, this last week. And I, you know, I will just say, you know, I want to borrow some Cuban cigars just to have them, you know, company come over just to have. And then what they're asking for one cigar was $65 for one cigar. I said, No way. Just for one cigar. One Cuban cigar, then they are the best cigars. Because as you know, years ago, I went to Jamaica and I had a Cuban cigar. And I'm like, wow, this is nice. But I didn't continue to smoke. I just that's not my thing. But people that do smoke, for whatever reason, you don't call me and say I need some life insurance. Now I know all my smokers have life insurance policies, right? That's why you don't call me is that right? If you're a smoker, you have a life insurance policy. Now, if you have life insurance on your job was fine. I mean, they paid three times your salary. If you're a young couple star No, and you making $50,000 a year, and one of you have an untimely passing. And you have two young children at home under 10 years old. How long was that $150,000 gonna make it because they give you three times your salary of $50,000. Now you had 150,000, you pay for that funeral, about 15 to 20,000. After everything's done, now you were left with $130,000, you have two young children under the age of 10, you got to be really, really good with money to stress that out and to age 18. Think about you have two children, and you only have $130,000, that now the income has gone $130,000 You pay a few bills off, you pay the car off, that's 20,000. Now you're down to 110. Depends some credit card debt off, maybe $15,000 in debt and maybe a student loan, how much you have left. You know, your agreement. So you need to take the kids are you and the kids going to trip you know a nice little trip that might cost you around $10,000. Taking a couple of kids. Now you're down about 80 $90,000, the money goes really fast. That's my whole point. Now you have to pay your rent. As I said earlier, I was paying $500 A month rent back in the early 80s. Today, that same unit, the two bedroom two bath unit is 1500. And up. Now you using that money to subsidize that lost income. This is why it's important to have an insurance review, I can give you an insurance review no obligation. If you have a life insurance policy, you pan, we can sit down with you to go over your policy if and if you have not had a review in a while. Why not doesn't cost you any money, you bring your life insurance policy and we sit down. Now, when you have lost a loved one and you and I said earlier the money goes quick. This is why it's important to have a life insurance policy. Other than work, work is good. If you're not paying for it, they're gonna give you that benefit take it. But it does take a while to get the money. I've had people contact me and say you know what I had my loved one, I lost my loved one and took up to four months to get the money up to four months, and I was fighting every tooth and nail through HR. Because HR had to get together have meetings and talk about it and see if you're eligible, their loved one is eligible for the money. And the remains are at the funeral home on on refrigeration, on ice or whatever you want to call it. And the funeral home is not going to perform the funeral waiting on HR to to distribute the money to the family. They're just not they don't hold the body in refrigeration. And they'll cause their cost you daily to restore the body daily. And then now you have your service. Now you can bury a loved one and take that money to use it toward you know, living. And the money goes quick, though. So if you're making $50,000 a year, this is my whole point. If you're making $50,000 a year and you think three times your salary is enough to make it Not today. Not today it goes really quick. If you if you're a young family and you're healthy enough to get a half a million to a million dollar life insurance policy, you'll be surprised at a low cost. You really would be surprised at a low cost. Look at it like this. You're a young couple you're in your early 30s less than 35 years young, and you both have a million dollars each on you. If something happens a premature passing. That's a million dollars now that'll stretch out. If you're not to, you know if you really you don't have to be really bad. Really good with money, a million dollars or $500,000. That's a lot better than 150,000. And if you're paying for your life insurance policy at work, you definitely have some better options other than work. Now keep in mind when you retire, that money's gone, or you know, HR or you know, upper management always can change the benefits. They can say, You know what, we had these benefits for a while but you know, is the term group insurance that we're in is starting to cost too much. So we're going to eliminate it altogether. We're gonna eliminate it all together. And you have to be very careful when I'm talking to my seniors right now. Because in the mail, you get these offers for accidental only life insurance. Accidental only life insurance. Now it comes from well known resources, your credit unions, your banks, department stores, names that you recognize, but you're buying a tribal life insurance policy, that's accidental, or an accidental only life insurance policy, because now you have senior union seven years and up, you have to do something, and you know, I need to get something. I don't want to put my family in this position that you know, I need all my money to live on. I don't have any extra money, you know, for life insurance policy, but this sounds good. 995 I can get, I can get the $100,000 for 995 a month, and it's accidental. You'll be surprised. You'll be surprised, you know, call a funeral home and ask them does accidental only policy covers natural death? No, do they did not cover? It says accidental only it spells it out. And so many of you seniors right now are dependent on this accidental only life insurance policy for your final expense. You know, your loved ones is going to be just really shocked to find out that you purchase a life insurance policy that's accidental and you pass away from natural causes a stroke or heart attack, or just you know, natural causes. It doesn't pay. It doesn't pay regardless of the face amount regardless of the price. Let's sit down and let's let's find a reasonable cost effective life insurance policy. Let's have a conversation with your beneficiary. My name is Donnell Marquez, this is your insurance connection broadcasts at Kayla v 91.5. Jazz and more Sunday morning, from 8am to 830. Let me help you find a policy that will fit in your budget. Contact number 702-236-2624 702-236-2624.

I also offer auto insurance homeowners. Yes and life insurance. Auto insurance we write with multiple auto insurance carriers. well known companies a homeowner's insurance we can bundle those two together to give you the discount. The auto will discount the home and home will discount auto. Yeah, there's nothing really I haven't heard before. You know, people come to me and say, you know, I have four or five speeding tickets, you know, have accidentally, you know, I'm not maybe not your insurance. I'm not that guy. I'm not. I will probably refer you to another insurance agent that handles you know, multiple accidents and speeding tickets. Now as in the state of Nevada, if you do receive a speeding ticket, you can get a reduced down to a parking ticket. Christine Barnard is a team member at your insurance connection. She's going to help you with that. As long as you haven't made any arrangements with the court or paid it off. We can get that speeding ticket in most cases reduced down to a parking ticket. 702-236-2624 is a phone number to remember. And if you cannot use my services again, you don't have everything together. And most of you don't. But anyway, pass me on to a friend. I'll keep me a secret 702-236-2624 My name is Don Marquez. Now if you can't because you're at work you can't call me during this broadcast. Is Sunday morning. You could text me. My business hours are Monday through Friday from eight no Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. Monday through Friday. My name is Dawn Marquez, this is your insurance connection. Again 702 to three 626 24. We touched on insurance for you know young families that get you a policy that will survive your family. Just in case there's a premature passing that death has does not discriminate when it comes to age. You know the biggest pushback even on these commercials I see on television is always women talking to the male, their husbands or spouses about having life insurance. Because the number one person that kicked the can is man, for whatever reason. We don't want to buy life insurance. We feel like why we need life insurance. I'm not gonna leave any money behind so you can spend with somebody else. Why do you feel that way? You're taking care of your family Now take it for someone that's experienced. You know, I know what it's like to lose a spouse, I lost my spouse, I know what it's like, it'd be five years. And it was a good thing that my wife and I, we took our life insurance when we did, I just don't talk to him, you know, just talk about it. I'm bored, walked the walk. I've lost loved ones. I've lost near my parents, and had life insurance, I lost a spouse, my wife and had life insurance. I know what that's like. And I also know what it's like to see family struggle. Because I know life insurance. Don't let that happen. It happens everyday. Everyday people go to a funeral home and they want the best of the best for their mother, their father, their grandparents and children. And when they go on, when their funeral director passed that, okay, no problem. We can do all those things for you. Here's the deal. It is mind blowing. It's it stop you from dreaming for that little bit of moment. And he said, cars, insurance are heard on Marquez on radio, over and over again talking about this should have picked up the phone and contacted him. But I did. Things do happen and they when they happen. You're not prepared. You never prepare for to get that phone call in the middle of the night. You know, you never prepare. You have to go to the hospital. When your mind is raising and you know you don't have time to grieve because you know that money has to come from some resources. Like GoFundMe is not an option. I mean, you know how many people aren't going from you know, how many scams are on GoFundMe, you know, going to your churches and you know asking people for money to bury your loved ones as embarrassing. That truly is, think about it. It's embarrassed. Or you may have to go out and take a loan. You don't charge up your credit cards maxed out your credit cards, one of the leading causes of bankruptcy today. One of the leading causes of bankruptcy day is because people lose a loved one and that financial. Now financially, they're destroyed. I mean, financially, you have to file bankruptcy, you may have to give up a few cars you may have now you're down to one car, you know, your credit is ruined for you know, two or three years I don't know. I don't know how long it takes to recover from a bankruptcy but it's it's, it's a stain on your credit for quite some time. And it's hard to it's hard to reestablish. That truly is that one of the main reasons why people go into bankruptcy because they lose a loved one. They don't let that happen to you. My name is 702-236-2624 702-236-2624 My name is Dawn Marquez. My Location is on a corner of Sahara Rancho. In the US bank center located on the eighth floor, auto insurance, homeowners life insurance, renter's insurance boat, and motorcycle insurance is what I offer. And we do have a team member on our staff. Christine Barnard she can help you through the process. If you need a will or trust or need to get that that that speeding ticket reduced down to a parking ticket she can help you 702 to 362624 702-236-2624 my location is on a corner Sahara and Rancho right across the street from the palace station oh the Taylor casino a work by appointment only. And again, if you can't if you do not have any life insurance, now's the time to act. And if you're looking for a small final expense, life insurance policy, you know something I hate, you know, take care of filing expenses, we have that tool as well. There is no physical. Regardless of your height, your weight, there is no physical we can make the payment set up monthly draft directly out of your checking account. Or if you'd like to pay semi annual annual we can make that happen to you, you can select the due date between the first and the 28th of each month. Let's see if you qualify for a final expense life insurance policy. And we do have writer options where you if you'd like to add a child on the policy, this lesson set that's 17 years younger, younger, we can add them. We can add your children on a policy on your life insurance policy as an additional writer. Now I've been asked this question, can I add my spouse on my life insurance policy answer that is no. No, we don't do that anymore. Because when when the primary insurer passes away, the policy is over. It doesn't continue because that person was a writer. Now if your children child writers, if they have an unfortunate passing now you have a child on there for 15 $20,000 as a rider on the policy if they pass away before you do you receive a check for the amount very low cost way to insure your children on a life insurance policy. Now when he turned 25 years young, the life insurance company will offer them their own life insurance policy they can hopefully they'll pay for it. And I say that hopefully they will pay for you know I have children that I'm still paying on the life insurance and they are very grown. But I want to make sure the policy doesn't lapse because responsibility is everything I'm being responsible for them. And I thought about giving their life insurance policies to them so they could pay for but think I better to keep continue to do what I'm doing. I'm paying for it myself. My name is Don Marquez. This is your insurance connection. 702-236-2620 470 to 2362624. Let's go Raiders. That's when a game today my name is Don Marquez. This is your insurance connection and enjoy your day in our beautiful city, Las Vegas, Nevada. Go out and take a walk get some sunshine. This is your insurance connection.
